Pulchritudinous!

You might be surprised to know that the harsh-sounding, five-syllable adjective pulchritudinous does not indicate a fearsome disease. Rather, it is used to denote people of outstanding physical attractiveness and comeliness.

Pulcher, -chra, -chrum is a Latin adjective meaning beautiful, beauteous, fair, handsome, in shape and appearance (Lewis & Short, A Latin Dictionary).
