Learning to count in Latin is as easy as 1-2-3! Most of the endings are indeclinable, meaning they do not change according to case, number and gender. Only the endings for the numerals 1, 2, and 3 are case and gender-sensitive.

Study these examples of Latin numerals one through twelve:

una puella
one girl

septem angelī
seven angels

duæ columbæ
two doves

octō angelī

trēs acolytī

novem nummī

decem nummī
